She combines somatic psychology with evidenced-based therapy to create a holistic approach to counseling. Bethany believes in providing treatment for people that have diverse life experiences and multifaceted backgrounds. It is her goal to provide counseling that acknowledges client’s race, ethnicity, spirituality, religion, socio-economic status, culture, sexuality, gender, age, and other forms of diversity. Bethany works with individuals looking to create meaning and live an authentic life. Bethany has experience working with clients that face difficulties with anxiety, restlessness, depression, relationship issues, life stressors, sexual identity, and trauma. Bethany specializes in feminine psychology. Feminine psychology addresses an individual's struggle to deal with issues of female human identity and societal constraints that are placed on this identity including cultural, familial, socioeconomic, and political. The term women is defined with a broad understanding, knowing that by the mere act of defining the term it may exclude a person's interpretation. All definitions of the divine feminine are welcome. Bethany believes that Psychotherapy is the process of moving closer to one's authentic self. Her approach to psychotherapy is gentle. The psyche naturally directs a person toward healing and a therapeutic relationship supports this healing and transformation. Increased insight is natural product psychotherapy. Insight can help one move toward better ways of being in the world and a greater sense of connection.
