Bronwyn Hassall-Santaella, B.A.
Milieu & Recovery Counselor

Bronwyn moved to Santa Cruz from rural Northern California in search of transformation and healing. Bronwyn found this healing along the beaches of Capitola and Aptos, in the nourishment of local produce, and in her academic ventures at both Cabrillo College and the University of California, Santa Cruz. Bronwyn views healing as a collective approach, and that transformation occurs not only within the self but within one's external communities. Through her studies, Bronwyn has subscribed to a life-span view of psychopathology and believes that one can not separate a client's lived experiences from their current treatment. Bronwyn also focuses on the ways in which trauma lives within the body and focuses on the ways in which clinicians can use trauma-informed approaches to move clients forward through their healing journey. Bronwyn plans to pursue a Ph.D. in clinical psychology and hopes to bring the concepts of developmental psychopathology and trauma-informed care to the forefront of clinical treatment.
