Fay Tsakiris, B.A.
Lead Recovery Counselor

Fay comes to the Lotus Collaborative with a Greek-American background, as she has lived in Athens, Greece for most of her life. She is a Recovery Counselor and a former client of the Lotus Collaborative program. After a couple years away from Lotus, she returned as a Recovery Mentor, in order to support current clients in their own recovery, as well as to gain experience in the clinical field. Her recovery journey shifted her career focus from obtaining a career in the medical field to one day becoming a clinical psychologist, as she found that her heart belonged in helping others heal their minds and souls. Her experience with being a previous client and being in ongoing recovery brings a unique approach to helping clients through her own personal journey with eating disorders.
Fay earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Classics at the University of California, Santa Cruz. She plans to pursue either an M.A in Counseling Psychology or a Psy.D degree. While studying Psychology is her main area of focus, she also has a passion for ancient Greek and Latin literature, as she finds it to be fun and soothing.
