Clinical Director, San Francisco

Picture
Kaye Anderson is the Clinical Director of The Lotus Collaborative San Francisco. Kaye is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW 19013), Registered Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator (RSMT/E), and Tamalpa Practitioner. Kaye has 25 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families, and has been providing clinical supervision to graduate students and interns since 2000.
Kaye earned her BS in Social Work at Cornell University, a Master's in Social Work from Columbia University, and is a graduate of Tamalpa Institute’s Embodied Leadership program. Over her career, she has worked in a variety of settings, including in-patient and out-patient psychiatry, medical hospitals, residential treatment centers, community-based mental health agencies, private practice, and school-based settings.
As a clinical supervisor and mental health leader, Kaye has a passion for supporting and training clinicians and staff, and strives to live by example that learning and growth are never-ending.
As Clinical Director at The Lotus Collaborative, Kaye brings a personal approach from a trauma-sensitive, strength-based, culturally humble and environmental lens, and believes we all hold the capacity for change through creativity and our internal and external resources.
Kaye lives in Berkeley with her daughters and emotional-support pit-bull, and teaches Hoop-Dance as a movement practice through her one-woman business, Hoop-Power.
