Kylee Mueggenburg, B.S.
RECOVERY COUNSELOR
Kylee is a California native who brings to The Lotus Collaborative a flourishing passion for holistic health and healing. She strives to empower others to find themselves both physically and spiritually throughout their recovery journey, as these were fundamental aspects of her own eating disorder recovery.
After earning a B.S. in Public Health Science with a Minor and Certificate in Gerontology from The University of Nevada, Reno in 2017, Kylee spent a few years traveling and submersing herself in different cultures, through which she practiced extensive self-reflection, leading her to pursue a career working in her true passion- mental health. Kylee has experience working in residential treatment as a recovery counselor and looks forward to being a continuous supporter of the recovery of Lotus clients. She is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Northwest University and intends to continue her career as a clinician in the field of eating disorder recovery.
Kylee believes that recovery benefits from healing the mind, body, and soul. Drawing from client-centered and integrative approaches, Kylee combines aspects of third-wave cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies and other modalities. Kylee believes that yoga and movement practices are beneficial to recovery and is an avid participant of yoga practice herself. In her spare time, you can find Kylee doing just about anything outdoors, reading, dancing at live music events, or practicing yoga.
