Madeline Walters, MS, R.D.
Program Registered Dietitian

As a Registered Dietitian, Maddy enjoys empowering individuals through nutrition therapy so that they may adequately and confidently nourish themselves. She believes healing happens when we are intentional with ourselves and others, and she enjoys collaborating with all therapeutic modalities in pursuit of a fully integrative approach to eating disorder treatment. Maddy is inspired by TLC’s commitments to treating the whole person and encouraging the language and culture of recovery, acceptance, and inclusion.
Before coming to TLC, Maddy had worked in all levels of eating disorder care from outpatient to residential. Her approach is informed by Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size, and Mindfulness; and she is passionate about supporting clients as they move towards integrated and embodied living, whatever that may look like for them. Through her own experience and her work with clients, Maddy has learned that true, honest connection with ourselves breeds love and healing.
Maddy earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Dietetics at Auburn University and her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She also has her 200-hour yoga certification and is passionate about helping individuals find joy in movement and strengthen their mind-body connection.
Maddy is an avid reader and forever learner. In her spare time, you can find her practicing and teaching yoga, quoting movies, hiking, and hammock-ing with her ambiguous hound mix Luna.
