RECOVERY COUNSELOR

Naomi (they/them, she/her) is a radically joyful Recovery Counselor with The Lotus Collaborative San Francisco. Naomi moved to San Francisco in 2017 to complete their undergraduate degree at San Francisco State University, where they graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater.
As an eating disorder survivor and recovering perfectionist herself, Naomi is very grateful to be working as a Recovery Counselor at Lotus. Naomi seeks to use their lens as a queer, trans-identifying human to show up for client-centered care that considers the intersection of identity with eating disorders, especially for folks in the LGBTQIA+ community. Naomi is also interested in body-oriented mindfulness and is currently completing a year-long somatic bodywork training under Holly Johnston. She is excited to be informed by this work and her deep roots in performance art and activism in her role as a Recovery Counselor.
