Taboo TopicsPlease refrain from talking in numbers (calories, clothing sizes, weights) as well as discussing exercising, types of exercise equipment; minutes spent doing, etc. We suggest instead of saying “I went walking for xxx minutes” you could say “I overexercised” or instead of “I binged and purged xxx times with xxx foods “ you could say “I binged and purged last night.”
We are aware that some clients have a history of significant sexual trauma. We therefore ask that those who wish to discuss sex do so in a respectful manner and not discuss sex in a casual, graphic, or lewd way. We may put an end to a discussion if staff assesses that the topic is being discussed in an unhelpful manner. |
